What is the program’s teaching language?
All our international programs are taught in English. English is widely spoken on campus and throughout Israel.
So do I need to know Hebrew at all to study at HUJI?
You don’t need to have any background in Hebrew, but you are invited to take courses to learn Hebrew during your studies, or choose from 30 other language courses HUJI offers.
Are there university entrance exams?
In general, there are no entrance exams, as long as you meet the program’s criteria. Some specific programs do require screening processes, such as a personal interview.
Which English proficiency exams are valid for HUJI admissions?
Most mainstream English proficiency exams are accepted, including IELTS, TOFEL, etc. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have a specific exam to ask about.
What are the acceptance criteria?
Acceptance criteria differ from program to program but will always include your transcripts from a recognized university, a personal statement, CV, and letters of recommendation. Some courses do require a specific GMAT score or other pre-requisites.
